Two-Phase Treatment

  • Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment:
  • Age: Typically begins when most or all permanent teeth have erupted (around ages 11-15).
  • Goals:
  • Full alignment of permanent teeth.
  • Achieving an ideal bite relationship.
  • Appliances:
  • Full braces or other orthodontic appliances for comprehensive correction.
  • Duration:
  • Phase 2 treatment may last 18 months to 2 years.
  • Purpose:
  • Focuses on achieving the final alignment and bite correction that couldn't be fully addressed during Phase 1.
